Beyond Organic

We are beyond organic because In addition to NO pesticides, herbicides, antibiotics, or other chemicals fed to our animals/used on our land, we are also a small family farm that collects food for our diverse animal production from other small local sustainable producers. At Casitas Valley Pastures we want our animals to have the best lives possible so we make sure they pasture raised, cage free, and cruelty free. Organic certification is difficult for small animal farmers to acquire because it is expensive, complicated, and a system that is designed for large homogeneous productions. You can rest assured that you are getting meat and eggs through Casitas Valley Pastures that is equally or beyond as healthy as certified organic products because you can meet your farmer and learn about our farming practices first hand.
